LG to bring new 4G phone
LG on Monday announced that it would launch a 4G (LTE) variant of G2 smartphone , which will be able to connect to 4G network announced by airtel. and possibly the network that Reliance Jio would launch in the coming months. The 4G version of G2 will be priced at Rs 46,000 for 16GB model and Rs 49,000 for 32GB model.
The 3G version of G2 is currently available for around Rs34,000 in the market. Compared to 3G,the 4G networks are likely to offer vastly superior download and upload speed. However,4G network is not yet available in all parts of the country. Also, only very active smartphone users are likely to go for it considering the cost of data plans is likely to be high initially for 4G.
