Now,instead of typing keywords into the search box, users can just speak or phrases they're looking for and le chrome do the rest.
The feature has been active on chrome for about a year now, but was buried among many other extensions in the chrome webstore. Googlers who activated the extension have reacted overwhelmingly positive, especially appreciative of how well the extension works with many kinds of different accents and providing correct and relevant search results.

Activating the feature allows a user to simply say, "OK,Google" and follow the cue phase the word, term or strain of termsit's as simple as it gets.
A pleasant female voice will answer the query, reading off the to search results ,which can be aa bit disconcerting for those unused to voice searching on any platform or device.
The feature also allow some very basic tasks, especially useful for timers and calender entries, like asking chrome to find the nearest convenience store selling milk, and then adding a reminder to pick up milk on the way home couldn't be easier.
Of course ,Ok ,Google will have to go o long way to complete with Apple's siri, especially since this voice activated search functions only words on the google.com website.
